Post-industrial plastic waste
As plastic waste managers and recyclers, we handle collection, sorting, storage, and packaging so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
We even supply the containers for proper and more convenient collection. In short, we put a price on your waste; we provide a quote for your scrap. And on top of that, you save the extra cost of storing and managing your own leftover plastic waste.

Plastic bottles (PET – PVC)

Food packaging (PP – PE)

Mobile phone cases (PC – PP – PMMA)

Credit cards (PVC)

Plates, cups, cutlery, straws (PS)

Signs and posters (PC – PMMA – PVC – PP)

Fishing nets (PE – PA)

Bumpers and dashboards (ABS – PVC)
During the production process, companies implement rigorous quality procedures in order to guarantee the uniformity of the parts and the highest guarantees in the characteristics of the finished product (in terms of parameters such as exact measurements, color, gloss, hardness, etc.). This involves discarding part of the production because it does not pass the quality department’s control or analysis, and in many cases it is not possible to reuse this product (known as scrap or waste in English) within the company’s own production process. Although the company’s efficiency goals always focus on minimizing the percentage of parts that do not meet quality parameters, at least a small percentage is always produced. Therefore, the company’s overall success lies in the possibility of adding value to these post-production residues so that they can be managed by Baidal Plastic in its industrial plastics recovery process.
During production and manufacturing processes, all factories implement rigorous quality control procedures. The main objective is to ensure the uniformity of all parts produced and compliance with the guarantee requirements in all characteristics of the finished product: its exact measurements, the color it shows, its gloss, the hardness it presents, etc. If it does not meet the expected parameters, if it does not pass the controls established by the company’s Quality Department, a greater or smaller part of the production generated must be discarded. And what is even worse, in most cases it is not possible to reuse the raw materials from the defective product, turning it into scrap or waste that the company must manage, assuming the corresponding additional costs. Although the company’s efficiency objective is always to minimize the percentage of defective parts that do not comply with the established quality parameters, it is inevitable to accept a quantity—however minimal—of lost parts that cannot be used again. For this reason, at Baidal Plastic we add value to your unusable post-industrial waste: we take on its management, upcycle it, and recover industrial plastic waste so that it can return to the production chain in the form of recycled plastic material. During the industrial process of producing parts made partly or entirely from plastic materials, whether by injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming or blow molding, some product loss is assumed in the form of parts that are necessary to move the manufacturing process forward but that, once the process is finished, will not form part of the final product to be marketed. These parts of the product that are involved during manufacturing but are not part of it in the final stage will necessarily be discarded as industrial waste inherent to the manufacturing activity, as they cannot be reused. We are talking about:
- Sheet offcuts.
- Sprue trimmings: the plastic that solidifies in the injection gates for a mold.
- Purge: start-up and shut-down material during extrusion.
For all these reasons, we value companies that use recycled plastic material to manufacture their products. And for the same reasons, we also value companies that manage their plastic waste efficiently.
